Coach Giorgio Cerboni who was coaching the 77 Soccer Devils took a chance on me and invited me to play on his club team. As I was raw and still new to the game, he taught us all the most crucial fundamentals of this beautiful game. His passion and dedication was infectious and we all wanted to get better and DID get better under his program.

I remember Coach Giorgio was not like one of the typical coaches who would just tell you what he wanted you to do. He would actually be able to show you what he expected and visually paint a picture so that we would all better understand what was expected from us.

I carried all the fundamentals I learned from the Soccer Devils with me for my entire playing career and know that if it was not for Coach Giorgio and his commitment to excellence that I would not have been able to excel.
